The page below centralises offers of all kinds (from solidarity to work opportunities in research labs) offered by Romanian academia. I started to list them on the very first day of the war, you can find them in chronological order. Some institutions appear more than once, because new and new initiatives appear

ASE Bucharest ➡ Accommodation in Covasna (15 rooms + 2 apartments) with priority for families of Ukrainian students studying in Romania; 30 rooms in Bucharest for foreign students transiting Romania.

University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" of Iasi: Accommodation for 45 refugees in Agigea; Accommodation for 80 Tunisian students who will transit Romania. Accommodation, food, psychological counselling and facilitation of medical services for 50 students and teachers from Ukraine (*UAIC is my employer)

Technical University Gh. Asachi➡ 120 places of accommodation equipped with bathroom, fridge, microwave, kettle; internet access

University of Bucharest➡ 250 accommodation places for students and teachers. Two material aid collection centres for refugees in Ukraine, where you can help with hygiene products, non-perishable food or water and refreshments.

SNSPA➡ Children's clothes, toys, non-perishable food, water are being collected and will be taken to customs on Friday 4 March 2022.

Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca➡ UBB supports professors, researchers and students in Ukraine so that they can continue their academic activities. Academic and material support (e.g. accommodation/food etc.).
